MSC steelmaking, continuous casting plant sets new crude steel production record

The Steelmaking and Continuous Casting Plant of Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) set a new crude steel production record in the 12 months to March 20, 2018. The steel giant owes this achievement to the tireless efforts of its personnel and employment of teamwork techniques as well as to an organizational sense of belonging.
Mohammad Reza Banaian Mofrad, the manager of the MSC Steelmaking and Continuous Casting Plant, described the 12-month period as the most fruitful since the launch of the company. “The plant was originally expected to produce 6.2 million tons, but on the back of tireless efforts by its personnel and the support of other plants, actual production stood at 6,450,807 tons, up by as much as 14 percent over the previous year.”
He credited the unwavering efforts of the personnel, their sense of belonging, both organizational and national, mutual understanding, excellent stewardship by high-level management and contribution by the management of other plants for this achievement. “It is our hope that the continuation of last year’s trend and more endeavors by staff members will see MSC achieve its nominal production capacity of 7.2 million tons of slab this year,” he concluded.
