First VP praises MSC for investing in, building Sangan pelletizing plant
The first vice-president has thanked Mobarakeh Steel Company for investing in and building a 5-million-ton pelletizing plant in Sangan, stressing the importance of investment in efforts to complete the steel chain and the role of such investment in economic development and job creation.
Eshagh Jahangiri made the remark after going on an inspection tour of Sangan iron ore mine in Khorasan Razavi Province. He added contribution of all sectors is needed to solve the economic and development-related problems of the country. “We need to develop convergence and consensus when it comes to addressing the country’s main problems and working out solutions to them.”  
Jahangiri went on to say people and officials unanimously agree that the policies of the Resistance-based Economy which have been communicated by the Supreme Leader are the only exit strategy for the country in dealing with its problems. “This is the very path the government has walked down over the past few years.”   
The first vice-president further said tapping into the potential of domestic experts is one way to act in accordance with the Resistance-based Economy, adding the inauguration [of the pelletizing plant] today is a good example of using local capabilities.
He also highlighted the need for efforts to create more jobs and counter inflation in the country.
As for the need to develop the railroads in Iran, Jahangiri said the railroad connecting Khorasan to Sistan and Baluchestan Province is one of many megaprojects the government is seriously pursuing.
