MSC designs and produces high strength galvanized sheets


Gholamreza Javanmardi further said the galvanized sheets MSC’s Metallurgy and Manufacturing Methods has produced in cooperation with the company’s galvanized steel unit also aim to meet new customer demands.
For his part, Alireza Moulavi, an expert with MSC’s Metallurgy and Manufacturing Methods, said such sheets are used for building high strength steel structures, adding the production of this grade helps the company make grade SGC400 galvanized coils (1250 * 0.8), steel sheets which measure up to JIS G 3302 standard – with a minimum high strength of 400 megapascals and a minimum yield strength of 295 megapascals.      
He further said these sheets each square meter of which has 120-180 grams of zinc coat are often used in the construction of hangar roofs, thick sheds and steel decks, buildings and replace concrete masonry unit (CMU). In light of the fact that these sheets are more economical as compared with CMSs, they are used in the projects to accelerate construction and progression of the projects.
In conclusion, he thanked the steelmaking, hot rolling, cold rolling, and galvanized sheets units, as well as the sales, labs, quality control, and production planning units which cooperated with the company’s Metallurgy and Manufacturing Methods to produce galvanized sheets. He added in light of the fact that the quality of these sheets is on a par with foreign types, they can be exported to other countries.
