Official: MSC’s resolve to tap into domestic potential commands admiration

The heads of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce and Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) have explored ways to maximally tap into domestic potential.
In a meeting between members of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce and the MSC managing director, Chairman Abdolvahab Sahlabadi, who also chairs Iran’s House of Industry, Mine, and Trade, said building confidence in domestic knowhow will definitely produce favorable results. “Isfahan Chamber of Commerce will remain an advocate of the steel industry as well as its intellectual arm.”
He further said the chamber is planning to organize a conference which will bring together startups and accelerators (incubators), adding MSC’s active presence in the conference can help identify its needs. “We can tap into technical knowhow and expertise of accelerators to meet the steel industry needs and neutralize the adverse effects of sanctions.”
For his part, MSC chief Hamidreza Azimian thanked the chairman and members of Isfahan Chamber of Commerce and voiced the giant steelmaker’s readiness to establish constant cooperation with the chamber. He underlined that MSC will actively participate in the meetings held in this regard.
Azimian further said, “We will make public a list of MSC’s needed items, so that efforts are made to use local technical knowhow and potential to meet our needs.”
The MSC managing director said his company lends full support to knowledge-based companies, startups and accelerators which can help meet the needs of Mobarakeh Steel Company.
