MP thanks MSC chief for steelmaker’s commitment to social responsibilities, development of provincial infrastructure


Managing Director of Mobarakeh Steel Company Dr. Bahram Sobhani and Somaye Mahmoudi, a female MP who represents Shahreza and Dehaghan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, have discussed the latest economic and industrial developments at provincial and national levels.
In the meeting, the MSC chief presented a report on the performance of his company and said MSC has had the highest level of production in its quarter century history. He said the fact that the company’s achievements have come in the teeth of outside pressure and severe restrictions when it comes to water and electricity supply is more of a miracle and credited those achievements to the staff perseverance and managerial tactfulness.
For her part, Mahmoudi said the breakthroughs the country’s largest industrial institution has achieved in trying times are promising, adding they are testament to smart managerial methods and to all-out efforts by the personnel and managers of the company.
Later, the MP handed an accolade to the MSC managing director for the role his company has played in undertaking social responsibilities and developing infrastructure in the province.
The accolade reads, “Without a doubt, the impact of parent industries, especially the production unit under your watch, on the economic infrastructure of the province and the entire country is unquestionable. The blessings of genuine and praiseworthy efforts by you and your staff are felt across the country. I feel duty-bound to thank you for you have done to leave a positive mark on development projects in the province, especially the project to turn the road to Shahreza into a dual carriageway. I also hope I can participate in the ceremony – with you in attendance – to inaugurate that project in the near future.”
A range of demands posed by industry players in Shahreza and Dehaghan also came up for discussion in the meeting, and Dr. Sobhani promised to try to meet those demands and support the industrialists.
